Ashley Calvillo is a law clerk at our Sacramento office. Ashley attended California State University, Sacramento, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy of Ethics, Politics, and Law, with a minor in Government in 2015. Ashley received her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she also earned specialization certificates in Family Law, and Public Interest Law.
As a law clerk at Hanna Brophy, I assist our attorneys with worker’s compensation cases and other related matters. Prior to working at Hanna Brophy, I worked for an agency in Sacramento handling whistleblower retaliation claims. I also worked as a law clerk in San Francisco, where I assisted various attorneys in handling unlawful detainer actions from case inception through trial and settlement. During law school, I was a teaching assistant for civil procedure; worked as a student clinician in the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic; and was a member of the Public Interest Law Foundation. Additionally, I served as a board member of the Labor and Employment Law Association.
