Kyle Hansen

ABOUT

Kyle Hansen returned to Hanna & Brophy in February 2022 as an Associate Attorney after having previously worked there in from 2001-2010. He defends various insurance carriers and self-insured employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation including 132a and S & W litigation.

A Sacramento native Kyle graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Theology. He earned his Juris Doctor from University of The Pacific-McGeorge School Of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1995. He is a past board member of the Sacramento based Association of Workers’ Compensation Professionals (AWCP .)

After law school, Kyle worked as a human resources director for a large local dairy processing company. This provided him with a unique foundation and perspective for understanding the challenges that employers face in dealing with workers’ compensation issues in California.

In his spare time Kyle enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys being active in his children’s school currently serving as a member of the School Advisory Council and being a past member of the St. Ignatius Parish Council. He is happy to be back with the Hanna Brophy team.
