Mike White, Firm Managing Partner Retires from Hanna Brophy

After 36 years working devotedly for Hanna, Brophy, MacLean, McAleer & Jensen, LLP, Mike White, a resident of Redding retired on December 31, 2020.

Mike, originally joined Hanna Brophy in 1981 as an associate attorney defending workers’ compensation claims.  During his time at Hanna Brophy, Mike was known for his unparalleled work ethic and a considerate, sensible, and fair voice.  He devoted a significant amount of time mentoring and inspiring leaders at the Hanna Brophy. Todd Ewing (Office Managing Partner – Los Angeles), said of Mike, “His focus was always on people and the other person, not himself.”

Mike earned his juris doctorate degree at University of San Diego School of Law.  To honor his legacy of service and leadership to the firm, “The Mike White Scholarship for Excellence in Litigation” was established at USD School of Law.  The scholarship will be awarded to a law student who demonstrates financial need, a demonstrated commitment to employment law, workers compensation law and preference will be given to students who support the work of the Employment and Labor Law Society at USD School of Law.  https://www.sandiego.edu/news/law/detail.php?_focus=79179
