Heather Rozzo

Heather Rozzo is an Associate Attorney at Hanna Brophy’s Bakersfield office, representing insurance companies, self-insured employers, and governmental entities in California workers’ compensation defense. She investigates claims, negotiates settlements, and advocates for clients in hearings and appeals, providing strategic solutions to complex legal challenges.

A Central Valley native, Heather was born and raised in Fresno and earned her B.S. in Psychology from UC San Diego. She worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Honolulu and later served as a Claims Adjuster II for the State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF), gaining valuable expertise in workers’ compensation claims. After obtaining her J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law, she worked as a Jury Clerk and Law Clerk for the Chief Judge in the Hawaii State Court System, followed by private practice defending employers in civil litigation throughout California before joining Hanna Brophy in 2025.
